Thirza Loffeld is a PhD student from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom who is studying professional development opportunities for nature conservationists with the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE).

Thirza aims to use the data she collects to help Lonely Conservationists around the globe by providing evidence for the many benefits of the creation of specialised conservation-based communities such as this one. She is also working with us to create specialised workshops and training opportunities for conservationists across the globe.

To help Thirza in her study and as a result, help the future of Lonely conservationists, please take this surveyΒ The survey will take about 15 to 30 minutes and can be taken on a mobile phone. The survey aims to help shed light on what you go through as a working conservationist.

Thank you for your participation! It will assist us in developing programs to help you, and other conservationists like you, with professional development opportunities into the future.
